Do I Need a Will?

The first question one usually asks is, “Do I need a will?” Like many questions, the answer to whether you need a will depends heavily on your circumstances. Contrary to popular belief, more people die without a will than die with a will. In addition, property that is transferable at death usually does so by means other than a will. Perhaps it is more relevant to restate the question as: “What happens if I die without a will?”
